Company Description: HSIPL - ChkdIn is an event technology product that focuses on enhancing the experience of both physical and online conferences, exhibitions, and other similar events. ChkdIn specializes in digitizing various activities that take place during these events to provide a premium and seamless experience for attendees, exhibitors, and organizers. The platform aims to streamline and modernize event management processes, making them more efficient and convenient. ChkdIn offers online registration and ticketing solutions, online check-in, and badge printing, exhibitor management, networking and engagement tools for attendees, insightful analytics and hybrid event support. We are in search of a Business Development Trainee to join our team on-site, full-time in Bengaluru, India.

The internship will be for a duration of three / six months, and based on performance during this period, we will determine whether to extend the internship or consider them for a permanent position.

Role Description

The Business Development Trainee will be responsible for assisting the business development team with lead generation, sales, and marketing initiatives. The role will involve working on market research, building and maintaining relationships with clients and prospects, creating presentations and proposals, and supporting the team with general administrative tasks.

  • Understand the products and services offered by Chkdin and be able to articulate its functions and benefits to external audiences.
  • Should be able to generate revenue through the Inside Sales Model.
  • Research and generate lists of potential customers.
  • Reach out to the target customer segment (event industry)
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and action them
  • Achieve Sales targets - in terms of customer acquisition and Monthly Recurring Revenue
  • It is an individual contributor role
  • Candidates need to follow the sales process from sourcing the lead to closing the lead.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field

Prior experience in a business development or sales role is preferred but not mandatory

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients

Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others

An eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to problem-solving
