JOB DESCRIPTION OF GIS INTERN

Post - GIS Management

Job Location:  Jaipur, Rajasthan - India

Duration:  06 Months

Stipend:  5K to 7K per month

Purpose: 

This position will be responsible for supporting the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Director in the ongoing operations of the GIS program, and design and/or prepare graphic representations of GIS data.

This position requires an employee to be flexible, multitask, think intuitively, use time management skills, and possess troubleshooting ability.

About the internship: 

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

Creating drawings and databases using GIS software and data collection equipment.

Working on CAD/GIS softwareResearching the utilities (water/wastewater/storm) and base maps

Working on all kinds of maps, analyses, and reports

Present information to clients and stakeholders in verbal or written format

Build, manipulate, and update databases

Skill(s) required:

ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MS-Word, Excel & Power Point

Can start the internship between 26th Sep 22 to 30th Oct 22.

Are available for duration of 3-6 months

Are from or open to relocate to Jaipur

Working towards a Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, or related field.
