Job Description TM JOB DESCRIPTION OF GIS INTERN Post - GIS Management Job LocationJaipur, Rajasthan - India Duration06 Months Stipend5K to 7K per month Purpose: This position will be responsible for supporting the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Director in the ongoing operations of the GIS program, and design and/or prepare graphic representations of GIS data. This position requires an employee to be flexible, multitask, think intuitively, use time management skills, and possess troubleshooting ability. About the internship; Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:Creating drawings and databases using GIS software and data collection equipment.Working on CAD/GIS softwareResearching the utilities (water/wastewater/storm) and base mapsWorking on all kinds of maps, analyses, and reportsPresent information to clients and stakeholders in verbal or written formatBuild, manipulate, and update databases Skill(s) required ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MS-Word, Excel & Power Point Who can apply; Only those candidates can apply who:Are available for full time (in-office) internshipCan start the internship between 26th Sep 22 to 30th Oct 22.Are available for duration of 3-6 monthsAre from or open to relocate to JaipurWorking towards a Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, or related field.
