This is a full-time on-site role for a Nodejs Intern at KnoBee.

The Nodejs Intern will be responsible for collaborating with the development team to design and build scalable server-side applications.

Day-to-day tasks include writing reusable, testable, and efficient code, implementing security and data protection, and integrating the front-end elements built by co-workers into the application.

Strong knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express or Koa

Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds

Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jade, EJS, etc

Familiarity with web application stack and APIs

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Experience with React or other front-end frameworks is a plus

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred but not required
