If selected, you'll receive a 6 month paid internship doing work you love for one of the world's most innovative companies to help powering prosperity around the world! The program is open to anyone who has at least three (3) years of professional experience and have been out of the paid workforce for at least 12 months to focus on caregiving. Your role is to work in small agile scrum teams to deliver awesome products that not only delight customers, but that are highly scalable and reliable. Using your detailed understanding of technologies and applying your intellectual curiosity you will help design, develop, and improve the features that help our customers run their businesses easily every day.QualificationsBachelor or Master's degree in computer science or a related technical field or comparable experience3+ Web Development experience (HTML, CSS, React, Java Script)Object oriented design and development experienceAbility to read and analyze existing codeExperience with ORM technologies such as Hibernate, Relational Databases, SQLStrong written, verbal, and collaboration skillsSelf starter with strong work ethic with a passion for problem-solvingAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentFlexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologiesSolid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience in any of the following a plus: Rest, JQuery, Backbone, Grunt, Browser development tools, UI Testing frameworks, LinuxExperience in AWS a bonusResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain responsive web applications providing awesome user experiences in desktop and mobile devicesHands-on development.
