The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving online marketing initiatives, managing the website and e-commerce platforms, and overseeing day-to-day operational activities. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of D2C retail, learning and contributing to various aspects of marketing and operations.Responsibilities:Marketing:Develop and execute online marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive customer acquisition.Create engaging content for digital platforms, including social media, email campaigns, and other marketing channels.Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.Collaborate with the creative team to generate visually appealing and compelling marketing materials.Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Website and E-commerce Management:Manage and update the company website, ensuring content is accurate, relevant, and aligns with brand guidelines.Oversee e-commerce platforms, optimizing product listings, images, and descriptions.Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot technical issues and improve the online shopping experience.Implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and organic search rankings.Operations:Order Management:Ensure accuracy of entries in order sheets and process orders promptly.Address any discrepancies in orders and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.Reconciliation and Accounting:Assist in reconciling financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.Learn and apply basic accounting principles to support financial documentation.Data Analysis and Reporting:Utilize Excel and other tools for data analysis and reporting.Contribute to the identification of areas for process improvement based on data insights.Documentation and Record Keeping:Maintain organized and up-to-date records related to orders, invoices, and financial transactions.Assist in the preparation of documentation for audits and financial reviews.Qualifications:Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program.Creative thinker and experience using Canva.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and willing to learn and apply new skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure accuracy in order sheets and financial records.Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Training:Training will be provided for all tasks to ensure the intern's success in these responsibilities.Benefits:Valuable hands-on experience in the dynamic fields of marketing and operations.Opportunity to contribute to the growth of a rapidly expanding D2C brand.Networking opportunities within the home furnishing and e-commerce sectors.How to Apply:Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your interest in the position and how your skills align with the responsibilities outlined above.
