About AmberLong-term accommodation booking platform for students (think booking.com for student housing). Amber helps 80M+ students worldwide, find and book full-time accommodations near their universities, without the hassle of negotiation, non-standardized and cumbersome paperwork, and broken payment process. We are the largest and fastest-growing student housing platform globally, with 1M+ units listed in 6 countries and across 100+ cities. (We are amongst the fastest growing companies in the Asia Pacific as per Financial Times https://www.ft.com/high-growth-asia-pacific-ranking-2022)Key Responsibilities:Work with product managers to ask questions about data and probe deeper with minimal guidance.Setting up metrics for measuring product/functional performance and responsible for tracking its improvement. Standardizing the metric definition.Measure the impact of experiments related to function, analyzing, and helping in course correction.Recommending product improvements based on analytical findings.Defining new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve performance.Build dashboards to track the progress of feature rollouts and the long-term success of products.Collaborate with engineers to ensure and improve data availability, integrity, accuracy, and reliability.Conduct experiments to evaluate the impact of new product features.Deliver. You do more than talk - you put things on paper, get your hands dirty, and execute with precision to make sure products and features are launched.Deep dive into data and identify the right problem statements and right segments to target and take experimentation-driven product development approaches.Capture insights from customer-merchant-partner feedback, experiments, research, and data analysis to identify trends and pinpoint the drivers behind them; translate these insights into tactical solutions to improve our products.Skills Required:Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Redshift, and Data analysis using Google Sheets and python.Ability to understand and articulate analytics insights.Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) is required.Ability to work with large datasets and write efficient SQL queries to perform ETL.Understanding of TableauSolid understanding of basic analytics principlesGood communication skillsAbility to deal with multiple stakeholders.Good to have: Experience in Machine LearningExpertise in TableauProficiency in other languages like Python, Google App Script etc.Familiarity with AWS stackQualifications: Btech/MScWhat You Will Gain from Amber:Opportunity for full-time employment contingent on internship performance.An exceptional work culture (and we mean it!).An open and inclusive environment.
