Job Description
Conduct microbiology experiments and assays under the supervision of a project lead. Perform microbiological techniques such as culturing, staining, and microscopy. Collect and analyze data using various software and statistical analysis tools. Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and assist in ordering and stocking laboratory inventory. Assist in documenting experimental procedures and results in laboratory notebooks and reports. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support research and development objectives. Requirements: Currently enrolled in microbiology or related science degree program or a recent graduate. 6 months - 1 year of relevant experience in a relevant project, internship or a full-time experience shall be an added advantage. Strong academic performance in microbiology and related coursework. Experience with basic microbiology techniques such as culturing, staining, and microscopy. Familiarity with laboratory safety practices and protocols. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical analysis software.
