The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics software development with expertise in ROS and related frameworks. They should be proficient in integrating controllers, microprocessors, and sensors to develop robust and efficient robotic systems.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain ROS/ROS2-based software solutions for robotic applications.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architecture.- Integrate controllers, microprocessors, and sensors into robotic systems.- Develop and implement algorithms for perception, navigation, and control.- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of software systems.- Stay updated on the latest advancements in ROS and robotics technology.Requirements:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.- Proven Knowledge in ROS and ROS2 development, including package creation, launch files, and message passing.- Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python.- Familiarity with robotic hardware components such as sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers.- Experience with integration of controllers, microprocessors, and sensors - Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.Nice to Have:- Experience with other robotic frameworks such as MoveIt, Gazebo- Familiarity with machine learning techniques for robotics applications.- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.- Contributions to open-source robotics projects.
