Step 3: Be a part of the team Salezshark!EXPERIENCEDuties you'll be entrusted with:Proactively prospect and identify potential clients by researching and qualifying leads in our target market.Initiate outbound calls and engage in meaningful conversations to introduce our company's products/services, value proposition, and solutions.This role will dedicate approximately 80% of its time to connecting with potential clients via phone or email, seeking out new business opportunities. It will involve creating a substantial number of high-quality Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) through direct sales activities, which encompass making calls, sending emails, participating in events, webinars, and utilizing other avenues that stem from marketing campaigns.Utilize a consultative approach to understand the needs and challenges of potential clients, and effectively communicate how our offerings can address those needs.Qualify leads based on established criteria and schedule appointments or Product Demos for the sales team.Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of meetings, Product Demos, and qualified leads.Follow up on all calls and emails until meetings are booked.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and lead status in our CRM system.Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads to the appropriate sales representative.Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and product knowledge to effectively represent SalezShark & its products in conversations with potential clients.Participate in regular training sessions and skill-building activities to continuously improve sales techniques and communication skills.Expectations from you:Basic RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Minimum 0 to 2 years of experience in B2B sales preferred. Necessary SkillsPrevious experience in a sales development or telemarketing role in the SaaS or similar software space.Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and build rapport over the phone or video calls.Strong active listening skills to understand client needs and tailor conversations accordingly.Goal-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively.Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is a plus.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Empathetic and professional demeanor when interacting with potential clients.Ability to adapt to evolving strategies and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the lead generation process.
