Social Media Marketing Intern, is responsible for assisting in a range of marketing initiatives within the organization. Their duties include tracking analytics for social media campaigns, creating social media posting schedules, and writing captions for social media posts. Required Responsibilities for Social media marketing: Design, build and maintain our social media presence Develop and expand our community and reach Work with the on-site Social Media Manager to create and implement campaigns Analyze key metrics and tweak marketing strategies Publish brand awareness campaigns Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis for company brands Monitor analytics with the social media team to identify viable ideas Create engaging blog and social media content Create, curate, and manage all content on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube Required Skills For this social media marketing internship, a candidate must have excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills. Self-motivated yet customer-focused. Knowledge of social media marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability Good time-management skills Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, and other social media best practices Social Media Strategists using social media for brand awareness and impressions Experience with social media analytics, including Google Analytics and Facebook Insights
